Position title: Senior Marketing Coordinator (re-post)
Reporting to: Manager, Public Support
Overall Summary
The Senior Development Coordinator participates in the development of annual plans and is accountable for fulfilling program objectives. The Senior Coordinator leads the Public Support team to successfully complete day-to-day operations. They are also responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all database functionality, as well as financial and marketing reporting for the Foundation’s Public Support program
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for leading the coordination and implementation of all Public Support direct marketing campaigns and for detailed and comprehensive program reporting
- Coordinates all direct marketing programs including online fundraising, direct mail, telemarketing, monthly donors, tribute and other initiatives
- Participates in development of direct marketing campaign themes and creative strategy
- Evaluates and analyses marketing campaigns and other fundraising measurables
- Develops and generates analytical, revenue, and financial reconciliation reports for all Public Support purposes and for the Foundation as requested
- Coordinates campaign theme research and liaises with program staff
- Supervises, coordinates and evaluates direct marketing consultants and suppliers
- Coordinates donor events
- Completes other related projects and duties as required.
2. Responsible for ensuring operational targets of the Public Support program are met and provides support and supervision of staff
- Ensures efficiency, data integrity, data accuracy and day-to-day work flow of Public Support staff and volunteers
- Liaises with Finance and other Development programs to implement procedural and systems integrations
- Manages the Raiser’s Edge database, ensures database security, integrity and accuracy and provides database training
- Ensures implementation and practice of database procedures
- Provides primary donor-centric support and service for Public Support donors
- Ensures all Donor Relations activities are in accordance with CRA, privacy and all other relevant legislation
Experience and Education
- 3+ years in marketing and/or Development
- Strategic implementation of online and offline direct marketing campaigns
- Completed post-secondary training in marketing, fundraising, or other related field
- Project management and team leadership experience
- Event coordination
Skills and Abilities
- Direct Marketing Campaign development
- Expertise in database management: Raiser’s Edge or other databases
- Expertise in marketing and financial analysis and reporting
- Expertise in procedure implementation
- Proficient in MS Excel and Access
- Multi-tasking, trouble-shooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Direct Market copywriting skills
