Climate Action Team

The Climate Action Team involves thousands of Canadians promoting awareness and action on climate change and pressing for corporate and government accountability.

Members receive briefings by email or regular mail on some of the most important national and international developments on climate change and energy. You are generally provided with all the information you need to easily write or phone the media, politicians, business and opinion leaders. Often you will receive a pre-drafted letter you can just quickly edit and send from your own personal computer.You can also do this from the Take Action, section of our Web site.

Most members of the Climate Action Team work independently, but some work with friends or use the CAT information to complement the work of other community groups.

It is very unlikely you will be able to respond to all of these action updates, but even if you respond to two or three a year, that is an important contribution to climate protection and building an ecologically-sustainable economy. You will also be joining hundreds of thousands of concerned global citizens in a world-wide movement to stop global warming.

Periodic climate clippings on important scientific and political developments, and occasional action updates by email.

Catalyst, a brief newsletter mailed to your home or office five times a year with more action ideas and campaign materials that aren't always possible to send electronically.
