David Suzuki's Nature Challenge - Halloween Extravaganza!
Looking for a fast, cheap and fun Halloween costume idea? Always wondered what it would be like to be environmental scientist, broadcaster and author David Suzuki? We have a single answer to both questions.
Step 1: Download mask and print it out on recycled or reused paper Smaller version (for smaller faces, PDF) Larger version (for bigger faces, PDF) Step 2: Glue mask to stiffer paper or thin cardboard (try reusing a cereal box). Step 3: Cut out mask, cut eyeholes, punch string holes Step 4: Attach string (not included in download). Step 5: Put mask on. Tie string behind head. Suddenly you’re David Suzuki. Step 6: Print our leaflets on recycled paper, which you can pass out. Step 7: Invite your friends to join us in the Nature Challenge. There’s nothing tricky about it. Step 8: send us photos of you in your mask! By email or to our Flickr photo group. In fact, David Suzuki's Nature Challenge is full of practical, science-based tips that will allow you to make a difference immediately and avoid a frightening future. Download the leaflet here (4/page, PDF) Remember -- cars are dangerous. Be extra careful while wearing any mask, even one of David Suzuki’s face.
