Pie to die for

Buying food from local growers means eating seasonally. Pumpkin pie got to be a Thanksgiving staple because pumpkins are ripe in October. Do you have the best pumpkin pie in the country? Other ways to make the holiday greener: a washable tablecloth and napkins instead of disposable dishes, glasses and cutlery. Try carpooling to events; it’ll give you a chance to catch up on family gossip on the way home.
