Food for thought
Think global, eat local?
Food that needs a passport
What’s with this organic stuff, anyway?
Good eatin’ is a mouse click away
Don’t just stand there—eat something!

Don't just stand there - eat something!

  • Shop wisely and make a difference by choosing local food that benefits local producers.
  • Encourage your grocer to carry more local produce. They can’t respond to your desires if they don’t know about them.
  • Visit a farmer’s market on the weekend and meet the people who produce your food. (Your kids will love it!).

  • Take Action

Make your next dinner party a "local" affair, using local ingredients for your meal. For extra points, start the evening off by uncorking a bottle of local wine. After all, food is just as much a cultural and community experience as it is a gastronomic one. Enjoy!
