Climate Solutions: Climate Solutions’ mission is to stop global warming at the earliest point possible by helping the Northwest become a world leader in practical and profitable solutions.

Oil Free Coast: Take action to keep the moratorium on offshore oil and gas development in B.C.

Sierra Legal Defence Fund: Sierra Legal provides free legal services to environmental groups and concerned citizens. It tackles some of the most significant environmental cases in the country to set precedence in Canada’s body of environmental law.

Georgia Strait Alliance: The Georgia Strait Alliance's mission is to restore the marine environment and promote the sustainability of Georgia Strait, its adjoining waters and communities.

BC Climate Exchange: This site connects people with resources and tools for education, outreach and training on climate change, its impacts and solutions.

Federation of Canadian Municipalities: The FCM is dedicated to improving the quality of life in all communities by promoting strong, effective and accountable municipal government.

West Coast Environmental Law: West Coast Environmental Law empowers citizens to participate in forming policy for, and making decisions about, protecting the environment.

Society Promoting Environmental Conservation: Since 1969, SPEC has been a leader in efforts to protect the British Columbia environment. It has a particular focus on issues that affect urban communities in B.C.’s Lower Mainland and the Georgia Basin.

East Kootenay Environmental Society: EKES is working to make sure wild places in B.C.’s East Kootenays are maintained as a natural legacy for future generations, with a focus on air and water quality.

Sierra Club of Canada, B.C. Chapter: Sierra’s B.C. Chapter focuses on protecting critical wildlife habitat, protecting wild salmon and other marine resources, stopping clear-cut logging and saving remaining ancient temperate forests.

City of Portland, Office of Sustainable Development: The office’s mission is to research, promote and integrate environmental, social and economic health. Here you’ll find information on how to make a real difference in your home, business and community.

Northwest Environment Watch: Based in Seattle, NEW promotes an environmentally sound economy and way of life in the Pacific Northwest. NEW has published books and reports on topics ranging from transportation and taxes and from urban design to ecological health.

B.C. Ministry of Water and Air: The B.C. government’s climate change home page contains information on climate impacts and solutions for British Columbia.

Climate Trust of Oregon: The Climate Trust promotes climate change solutions by providing high quality greenhouse gas offset projects and advancing sound offset policy.

Better Environmentally Sound Transportation: Vancouver-based BEST is striving to make our communities healthier places to live by promoting sustainable transportation and land-use planning, and pedestrian, cycling and transit-oriented neighbourhoods.

Smart Growth BC: Smart Growth BC is a provincial non-governmental organization devoted to fiscally, socially and environmentally responsible land use and development.

BCFacts.Org: This fact-based website provides a detailed examination of the B.C. government's record on environmental stewardship.

Greater Vancouver Regional District: The GVRD has created a website on climate change impacts and contains resources on how to tackle this complex issue.
