Mere days ago we were sweltering through the dog days of August. Suddenly, it's Thanksgiving. Whether you look forward to a roasted bird or a tofurkey feast, Thanksgiving has its roots in expressing gratitude for the harvest. And there are lots of ways to celebrate and be kind to the planet.

Eating local is a big part of that, and surprisingly easy. Sometimes, eating local can mean getting food right at your door; Canadians from coast to coast to coast responded to our "David Suzuki Digs Your Garden" contest. Check the finalists and vote for your favorite.
