- Jennifer Ashley, 33, recently made her first donation to the David Suzuki Foundation. “I chose to donate to the Foundation because after growing up watching David Suzuki on television, and reading his articles and publications, I truly believe in his ability to teach us how to live within our environment. And I believe he can help us protect it,” says Jennifer. “I also think he is one of the few scientists that is recognized and heard by our governing parties and our ‘governing’ businesses, and that he can speak on our behalf to help make a difference.”

“For me, all environmental issues are important. They all have an affect on each other. Our wellbeing is completely dependant on the health of our planet,” she says.

Jennifer, who is aspiring to be an Operatic and Classical singer, lives in Belcarra with her small herd of house pets, which includes cats, chinchillas, and a dog. “I feel very good about donating to David Suzuki Foundation,” she says. “To me it is an investment into our future.”
