Are we insane? This is our third event in ONE day! David Suzuki may be 70, but he's like the Energizer Bunny - he just doesn't quit. Being around someone who's more than twice your age but has more energy than you is both exciting and a humbling. Man, I gotta get to the gym more often.
Tonight's event was in a high-school auditorium, and it was great to again get a chance to see and hear so many young people expressing an interest in their future, rather than just staying at home and playing Xbox 360. Which, granted, is fun but you can't make the world a better place by blowing stuff up real good on the TV - even in high def. Kaplow!
Okay, confession time. Day one of the tour our water pipes froze and burst, leaving us with no onboard facilities. And it doesn't look like we'll have time to fix them until we hit Quebec. In the meantime, we're going to have to keep using "strategic" bathroom breaks and try to stay on schedule.

Ah, Saint John. My old stomping grounds! Sounds like the tour is a blast. Is it getting much media coverage? Just curious.

The Suzuk is a truly inspiring man; bringing people forth, drawn to the passion from his soul. I met him on tour in Sarnia, Ontario years ago. He has inspired me to become involved in the distribution of renewable energy systems. We all need to exercise more often, because this will be a long road to sustainability and we must move swiftly.

It's getting huge coverage! People are talking about it and the media is following along. It's great to see this kind of interest that we couldn't have dreamed of a year ago.

Just curious...were you in Saint John NB OR St. John's NFLD..that seems to be a problem for alot of people in Canada, not sure why, they are spelled very differently. I'm from SJ NB origionaly and live Nanaimo BC now. So when I see Saint John in print, I naturally check it out.
keep up the good work.

Thank you Dr. Suzuki for caring so much for such a valuable cause that you are willing to give all of your self towards your efforts. Your passion for our Earth and the responsibily it presents us with is indeed both infectious and miraculous.
