What better venue to bring a community together than an historic church?
And what better way to be greeted than by a giant flying squirrel? Or at least a dude dressed as a flying squirrel? I can't think of any - though I haven't slept for three days.
This was Fredericton. At one point, people were lined up around the block just to make sure they would be able to get in. Simon was practically mobbed for video posts. Giant squirrels had their say. Turns out their homes in New Brunswick are being clearcut. Word of advice to forestry companies with unsustainable logging practices - never upset any rodent over six feet tall.
Local organizers must have been sent directly from heaven as they had pizza for us. Real, hot food! We needed it too as we're now off to historic Quebec City. It's a long, cold drive ahead, but we're riding high off of the incredible reception we received in New Brunswick. Now, if we could just stop Kyle from pushing a video camera in our faces every minute!

Team Suzuki I want to Thank You for coming to Fredericton. My family and I live in the rural community of Stanley, 35 mins. north of Fredericton. My 13 year old son was thrilled to be able to see and hear David in person. David you are our hero and we respect you and your opinoins very much! My son(jacob) was also very impressed with your sense of humour, he said he was pleasently surprised by your wit!
Once again we can not Thank You enough! We are taking steps to make our home more energy efficient, we are making less trips into the city, and my son unplugs every appliance behind me. Our children are worried and scared for their future. Jacob is mad at society and gov't for ignoring the warnings and recklessly raping his world.
Keep up the great work!
GO TEAM SUZUKI!!!!
Help us make our world healthy again.!!!
