Monday morning the tour bus took a detour north into Ontario's cottage country. We were in search of Canada's wittiest mockumentarian, Mr. Rick Mercer.

I won't dare spoil the surprise, of course. You'll have to tune into the Mercer Report yourself on February 20th at 8 p.m. PST. You'd never guess that Rick himself often dreams up these crazy show stunts!

Our entire crew enjoyed the wintery day out--except for the cold and all that white stuff that leaves us with wet socks once we all have to pile back on the bus. (I know, I know. Yes, guilty as charged. A wimpy Vancouverite in the making!)

Anyway, en route to the location we had the Mercer Report crew and our crew on the bus. This was an apt time to jockey for photo op's! So picture our eager crew starstruck by Rick Mercer and then his crew starstruck by David Suzuki. You think we might have showed a little more restraint right? I mean now that we've had an inside experience into the whole celebrity craziness. Nope. Turns out we're only human too!
