The tap water challenge

Happy World Water Day!

In Kingston, ON, students at Queen's University are daring you to put on a blindfold and take the Tap Water Challenge today, an event coinciding with World Water Day.

The Kingston-Whig Standard reports that students from the school of environmental studies and the departments of biology and geography organized the challenge to spark debate on campus about the bottled-water industry.

If you're not a big fan of bottled water, the "Think Outside the Bottle" campaign is a great take action resource.

And finally, check out the BBC's interactive World Water Crisis. Mexico city is actually sinking because of the amount of water being pumped out from beneath its foundations.
