I just discovered Umbra's column yesterday. It's a fantastic resource.
I love her focus on the big picture. Paper bags vs plastic? Umbra reminds us that it's a distraction from the fact that we're driving to the grocery store.
One plastic bag less isn't going to change the world. Driving less frequently will.
