I would like to welcome the new CEO and pass on something I learned during our Summerland Earth Day event.

Street storm drains go directly to streams, rivers, then oceans, in my town.

If this is true in other cities and towns, then we send pesticides, herbicides, weed and feeds, salt, deicers, oil, car fluids, soap, wax, and who knows what else, directly into our water habitats!

My point?!

Why are we wondering where the fish went?!

Please read the following web sites http://www.omafra.gov.on.ca/english/crops/facts/00-077.htm http://www.fao.org/docrep/W5183E/w5183e06.htm http://www.warwickhughes.com/agri/Solar_Arch_NY_Mar2_08.pdf Now since 99% of all scientific research over the past 20 years has established that increasing carbon dioxide increases the growth rate af all plant life how is reducing CO2 advatageous to plants and therefor "green"

I agree with what Board Chair Hoggan said; "The environment is the number one issue in Canada. "

WTG Peter Robinson! U imagine you should do a great job promoting those technologies and other things that will make humanity a benifit to the environment instead of what we have.
