Yes we can reduce global warming!

The small steps for individuals that the David Suzuki Foundation talks about in David Suzuki’s Nature Challenge and elsewhere really do make a difference in protecting the environment – and Canadians are embracing them. But we can – and must – do more, according to two studies by Statistics Canada.

An article in the Globe & Mail, “We’re green (kind of)” points to one study’s finding that individual Canadians have the power to make changes that will have a positive effect:

“Canadian households shoulder nearly half of the responsibility for greenhouse gasses emitted into the atmosphere by the nation, most of which come from the gas our vehicles guzzle, the electricity we use and the products we buy, the study on household greenhouse-gas emissions suggests.”

That doesn’t mean government and industry are off the hook, but it does show that we can all lead by example.

CO2 ppm Crisis & Solution Dec 11,2008 Thursday

Theoretically, today in the year 2008, 1 Billion People, add 1 ppm CO2 to the atmosphere per year by the activities of modern human civilization.

So, in 100 years, from the current population of 8 Billion People today in 2008, at a current atmospheric concentration of CO2 of 380 ppm, the atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Concentration will rise to approx. 1,180 ppm in the year 2108 which is similar to that of the Eocene Epoch 65 million years ago and with it consequently a concurrent rise in global temperature. This will theoretically happen if the current population is held at 10 Billion people globally and if it is as suggested that this CO2 rise is coming mostly from humans and inappropriate human activity!

If this then is the case, then, in order to counter this, the global population must be held at or below 10 Billion people and a 8 ppm reduction of CO2 gas per year must occur globally if the current level of 380 ppm here in 2008 is to be maintained and sustained and the global temperature is to be thus held steady or reduced to a norm or of about the 1988 level of about 15.8 degrees Centigrade or so which was before humans and humanity exceeded the planets biocapacity.

A mechanism of operation that could work would be to tie a dollar value of one dollar $ to the current global CO2 ppm concentration of 380 ppm. The way this would work is that as the CO2 ppm rose between 5 - 10 ppm per year as projected the value of this dollar would decrease by 1 cent, thus in 100 years it would have a value of zero as the CO2 level reached it projected 1,100 or 1,300 ppm level. The currencies of the G20 and the 4 nation tribes could thus be tied to this dollar and the value of these currencies would equate to the measured level of the CO2 emission of these nations. If an industrialized nation for instance emitted low levels or tons of CO2 there currency would have greater value as they were or would be or are contributing less to CO2 emissions. Thus ince

Well, I guess the crash of our capitalistic consumer craze is going to help us reduce our CO2, whether we like it or not.

There will be less jobs so less cars and factories to pollute. Easy.

While we adults take a break from consuming all the resources on the planet, we can evaluate what is ahead, wealth or health, and make some hard decisions.

This foundation can help.

Peace to all!

The new age of Chicken Little Science that seeks only some socialist shift of wealth is finally beginning to unravel. Science has destroyed a huge measure of it's credibility in this AGM fiasco. First with the hubristic claim that humanity now rules the climate and can buy it's way back. Then with a two decade study presuming global warming, information that needs to be tabulated by decades and centuries before an accurate observation can be offered. Then by the lie that global warming should be considered catastrophic despite all evidence to the contrary in previous human experience with global warming.

Shame on you for being fools, and if you are not fools, shame on you double for promoting this hoax that has done so much damage to the being and core of science.

We hear about saving energy and greenhouse gasses.

How come the Government isn't doing more to promote solar heating to homeowners.

There are not enought information about installing solar heating and there are not many companies that installs the solar panels and if you find one the prices are more than people could afford. And there seems to be no help from the gov't to install solar heating.

All sorts of organizations are calling on government to stop global warming.STOP THINK. Weather is effected by sun spots, volcano's ,solar activity, earth quakes, etc. No government or ill advised do good human can change any of this.More and more of the top scientist's agree on this.

What we must do is stop polluting our water earth , air and food. Weather is in the hands of the super natural powers.
