Dive a little deeper tonight and tune in to Mysteries of the Deep, the third episode of CBC's One Ocean series. This episode offers a unique view of a mysterious underwater world — check out the trailer or Sarika Cullis-Suzuki's blog on tonight's exploration, which airs at 8 p.m. PST. Here is an excerpt from Sarika's blog:

Pitch black. Freezing cold. Intense pressures. And so, so deep.

It's the deep ocean that gives the sea its edge.

Let's face it: snorkeling at the water's surface and being able to see the seafloor beneath you would feel pretty different from (all physical limitations aside) scuba diving thousands of feet down into the abyss, with no seafloor in sight! To read more visit Sarika's blog on the One Ocean website.
