Can being in nature make you smarter? Why are doctors "prescribing" nature? Should national parks be considered part of our health care system?
These are just some of the questions we discussed with special guest Richard Louv, author of The Nature Principle: Reconnecting with Life in a Virtual Age and Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder, at our David Suzuki Foundation Telephone Town Hall where we connected with thousands of Canadians in a nation-wide conference call.
David Suzuki Foundation CEO, Peter Robinson hosted the conversation and Foundation scientist Dr. Faisal Moola, Director General, Ontario and Canada's North, was there to talk about the work we're doing to get Canadians into nature.
