Capturing Pacific Cuisine (Credit: Gina Ellefsen)

My sister and I grew up on the east coast of Canada and developed a love for the ocean and our planet.

Erica's education brought her to the west coast to pursue her dreams. My boyfriend and I came to visit this summer and we enjoyed many experiences together. Without a healthy Pacific, this would not have been possible. Today we went crab fishing from Mill Bay, and were able to catch our supper tonight. Together we prepared a meal, from catch to table.

We want to continue preserving the ocean through sustainable life choices, for our benefit, and for generations of families succeeding us.

Message to Canadians: Preserve the Pacific, and preserve family.
