The land of Haida Gwaii is threatened by the building of a giant pipeline and the arrival of oil tankers. Two brothers take matters into their own hands to find a solution, and end up getting some supernatural help from Raven.

"Yo kids, gotta do more than recycle.
Gotta go psycho
'Bout where the pipe goes."

Message to Stephen Harper:

Right Honourable Prime Minister Stephen Harper,

Please remember: you work for the people of Canada. Not for the International Oil Companies.

The people of Haida Gwaii don't want the Enbridge Pipeline.

The seas here support a bounty of natural life. We don't want oil tankers in these precious waters.

Oil tankers bring oil spills and oil spills would damage this ecosystem, and the fish, shellfish, and seaweed upon which the people depend.

We don't want to move to Alberta and work in the tar sands. We want to live here as we have done for thousands of years.

I don’t get it. What is the problem? I mean really! You people make it sound like every oil tanker spills oil no matter what, and every pipeline leaks. I call bullshit here. This project will disturb nothing for any longer than it takes to build. If this country had screwed around like this when the railway was being built- we would still be debating this today, like duh!

If you wish to live as you have for thousands of years. Then stop taking Government Support Monies and live on your own………… Suddenly not so much? The export of “OIL” from the OILSANDS will benefit all Canadians.

Right Honourable Prime Minister Stephen Harper,

I have done a lot of reading, watching videos, interviews, etc. on Enbridge and the untruths they have told. This is not a company Canadians should be dealing with. Do not let powerful big business affect your honest judgement on right and wrong. This can cause so much hardship, damage to environment both sea and land. Look at what it has done in other countries that have put in pipe lines to the ocean, and what happens with the freighters. Also our river and streams. Just look at the states — Texas, California, etc. Wildlife will be killed, plants will be killed, fish, seafood of all kinds will be killed.
Be a Man. Stand up for your Country. not big business. You look honest. Don`t be like a sex offender that looks good but is evil. Please, you have a family, think about them, instead of politics and money.

I live in BC, born and raised. I love my Country and my Province. I will never vote for a political candidate who acknowledges the voice of minority capitalist corporations over the voice of the residents of this country and province. Mr. Harper please remember YOU ARE CANADIAN! A Corporation did not birth you, a family did. This corporation has proven that its reckless thirst for profits is more important than any care for the environment and health of the area it operates within. You would not trade the health and safety of your family for money so please do not do it to mine.

Honorable Mr. Harper. You know that no one in B.C wants this pipeline, so why are you putting it through anyway? Prove that you actually care what the people of B.C. are concerned about and that we do have a say what happens to our land and ocean wildlife. We really are a part of Canada weather or not you know We are here. Please think of the consequences.

I live in Australia, I don't know a lot about Canada. But I know no matter the country, everyone is affected by something that goes wrong in another part of the world. So subtle the ripple of the earths cries for help are by the time they reach the other side of the earth, that the seriousness of the call is not acknowledged. So the people who do hear, cry out on her behalf….. their behalf !… The courage of people with heart felt determination joining together, so many whispers, become a mighty roar!… the roar is to call people near

Isn't it time the government comes to reality and agree they have made mistakes with our environment for years. What do they think oh this will not make a big difference if they put this pipeline in. What a surprise, the government makes me sick and the rest of the country will feel the outcome of this very wrong doing. It might bring jobs but wait till the reaps of their crop if you can call it that. I am thoroughly disgusted. I am doing the best I can on ODSP, I am even taking the a step to get solar on my roof, the more people who do this the better we will be. Our generations to come will have a very difficult time trying to fix the Harper Government mistakes. What a joke he is, what kind of monies is he raking in for himself on this issue? I don't want to even think of it. Disability will not stop me from making a greener mark. I hope there are more people out there that will help stop this craziness. I will support anything Dr.Suzuki says, he should be Prime Minister.
