Always wanted to be a Park Ranger? Now's your chance!

Keen community leaders who live within the Greater Toronto Area are invited to apply to become Homegrown Park Rangers. This year, we're looking for people both inside and outside the existing Homegrown National Park corridor (Toronto municipal wards 17 to 21).

New Ranger recruits will participate in a two-day training weekend (March 7 and 8, 2015) in Toronto and support Homegrown monarch butterfly and pollinator projects in their communities.

How to apply:

We're hoping for two dozen new Park Rangers, including four living outside the current Homegrown National Park boundaries (Toronto municipal wards 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21).

Applications will be considered as they are received — so apply early!

Application deadline: February 9, 2015

Please read the program FAQs prior to submitting your application. Candidates will be selected by February 18, 2015. You will be notified of your application status via telephone or email.
