Link to Mission: The David Suzuki Foundation is seeking IT support for our busy Vancouver office. We are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly volunteer to assist with computer configuration and installations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work with IT Manager to provide IT support to Foundation staff
- Assist with computer configurations and installations
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Expert knowledge of Windows operating environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Professional, friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
- Good judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential/sensitive matters
- Knowledge of MS Office and other applications an asset
- Knowledge of hardware components an asset
Reports to: Calvin Jang, IT Manager
Time Required: 3-4 hours per week (starting in September)
Flexible hours (8:30-noon, M-Th)
3-month commitment required
Orientation and Training Provided:
All volunteers receive an orientation to the Foundation.
Training provided on-the-job.
