Public forum to be held on Vancouver freeway expansion tomorrow night

Join BC Transportation Minister Kevin Falcon, Vancouver City Councilors David Cadman, Tim Stevenson and Peter Ladner, Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan, and Surrey Mayor Diane Watts on Tuesday March 28 as they debate the merits of the Gateway Project.

The BC government wants to spend $1.5 to 2.5 billion to twin the Port Mann Bridge and expand Highway 1 across Greater Vancouver.

It’s time to consider Greater Vancouver’s future and look at all the alternatives.

What: Public forum on Gateway Project

Where: Croatian Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver

When: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
