Best-selling author Tim Flannery in Ottawa to discuss explosive new book on climate change

WHAT:
Tim Flannery, author of the new book The Weather Makers, will speak at a press conference in Ottawa on April 21 about the urgent need to address climate change. Flannery’s book gives readers the clearest, most compelling picture of the challenge and the real threat of climate change. Flannery will outline steps Prime Minister Stephen Harper can take to make a difference. Flannery’s call to action has already won support from UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, Australian Prime Minister John Howard, and David Suzuki.
