David Suzuki Foundation in Bonn during UN climate change talks

WHAT:
The David Suzuki Foundation is sending two official observers to the United Nations climate change talks in Bonn, Germany (http://unfccc.int). The two-week conference, from May 15 to May 26, will focus on future action to be taken by industrialized countries when the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol ends in 2012. Other issues on the table include technological innovations, the use of market-based opportunities to combat climate change and steps countries have taken to implement the Kyoto Protocol.

The following Suzuki Foundation spokespeople will be in Bonn to monitor the negotiations, and will be available to speak to journalists in Canada about the progress of the talks.
