The David Suzuki Foundation could not accomplish nearly as much without the efforts of talented interns across the country. Here are some of the amazing young people who dedicated their summer to us. Thanks to The Co-operators and the YMCA Digital Skills Internship program for helping make their work possible.

This summer, she worked on the 30×30 campaign, created a virtual classroom for digital media, and collaborated with design students to create Rouge National Park graphics. Currently earning her bachelor of commerce degree at Queen's, she is passionate about using her business skills to further social causes and wants to pursue a career that combines both.
Laura Lefurgey-Smith, Online Coordinator Intern
A graduate of BCIT's New Media Design & Web Development program, Laura designs graphics for our campaigns, contributes to our social media channels, and helps manage the website. This summer, she's enjoyed designing the Spring Break-up website and graphics and the very popular Radically Canadian banner and sticker. Laura claims that the best part of her job is the people she works with, and that the internship has helped her narrow down her career choices.
