Taina Uitto is on a plastic-free diet for an entire year. Beat that, Canada!

After hearing about garbage patches twice the size of Texas in our Pacific Ocean, marine conservationist Taina Uitto realized the serious impacts our disposable habits are having on the ocean. So she went on a plastic-free diet, pledging to go a full year without acquiring or using any new plastic.
